What Does A Colon Hydrotherapy
 Treatment Involve?

A colon hydrotherapy session is the safe and gentle infusion of warm
filtered water into the colon (large intestine).  The individual lies comfortably
on a custom table for approximately 45 minutes.  The temperature
and pressure is monitored throughout the session by a trained technician
as water is circulated into and out of the colon without any assistance
on the part of the individual.  This method provides a closed system in which
waste material is eliminated through the instrument and out the drain line,
avoiding any offensive odor and maintaining the dignity of each individual.

The instrument designed for Colon Hydrotherapy allows thorough cleansing
and disinfection following each session and the instrument features a sanitary
and F.D.A. approved disposable unit which eliminates any possible contamination
to the individual from a previous session.

Colon hydrotherapy is an extended and more complete form of an enema.
Its methods extend beyond the rectum to cleanse the entire colon and offers
greater cleansing and therapeutic benefits.  It is performed using
minimal water pressure of approximately 2 pounds per square-inch, which is
well below a gravity enema.
